Just eight days left until the season officially begins. Eight days, mates. And do you know what that means? It means that numerous parties are coming up including a multitude of alcohol. My point?
While I quite honestly expect most of the league to be celebrating the oncoming season, and also don't mind if they do - mostly because it means that there's less successful practices for them! - Puddlemere players are not to be guzzling down booze in the next week and one day. I expect all of you to be on the pitch, 6 AM as always, no hangovers, no hangover cures just starting to work, no complaints, nothing negative. If you get so wasted that you fall off a building? It might be best, because I'd likely do something much worse to you the next day when you showed up to practice whining about a headache.
Have a few drinks, I don't mind at all! It's really none of my business. What is my business is when you overdo it and I end up peeling you off of the stadium grounds because of it. Too many drinks equals too many reserves being pushed up to first string. Don't test me; I'll do it! They're almost as good as you lot!
In other news, I found my socks!
